Certified Marine Mechanic

Good Days Marina is actively hiring for a full-time, year-round Certified Marine Mechanic.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair boats, outboard motors, and personal watercraft

• Perform routine maintenance and seasonal service

• Rig new units and install accessories

• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and cooling systems

• Keep clean and detailed repair orders and notes

• Educating and Training of New Marine Techs

• Communicate with customers about repairs and diagnosis.

• Perform occasional off site repairs.

• Guiding and taking an active role in the growth and integrity of the service department.

‍ The candidate MUST possess the following:

• All of their own tools

• 5+ Years in the Marine Mechanic Industry

• Certifications in Marine Engines like Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki

• A Good Attitude, and the willingness to help with tasks outside of the typical Marina Mechanic Job Description.

• Valid Drivers License

Candidate Must Possess Valid Drivers License, Pass Criminal Background Check, and Drug Screen. Benefits begin after 90 days. Profit sharing requires that the candidate meets all of the above criteria.
