We offer Comprehensive Winterization, Professional Shrink Wrapping, and Secure Outdoor Storage at Good Days Marina in Houghton Lake.

  • Outboards receive Minus 100 Degree Marine Antifreeze, pumped through them to ensure no water is left behind to freeze and cause damage. Then we drain the lower-unit gear lube and replace it with a high-performance synthetic blend. During this process, we always replace the Drain Screw Gasket.

  • We use 7 mil plastic wrap on every vessel. Using high-quality strapping and 2×4s, we build out the frame, then lift and prop open seats and loungers to ensure no vinyl touches and no spaces get sealed up. This extra step significantly reduces mildew. After we seal the Vessel, we install 6 vents and place it on blocks in our secure, fenced-in lot right down the street from the Marina.

  • All Winter Storage Customers get a free Summerization! A Summerization includes unwrapping your vessel, a gentle power wash of the interior and exterior, along with a multi-point inspection. If we find issues like dead batteries or malfunctioning lights, we'll contact you to set up a repair.

  • Because we are lakefront, you can boat directly to our Rec Fuel Dock. Or, for even more convenience, we can pick up from your dock or driveway. If you’re skipping storage, we can even bring it back to your driveway!

  • In the Spring, we will unwrap every vessel, perform each boat’s Summerization, and email all clients with a Spring Scheduler. This Scheduler lets you choose the date and time you want to pick up or have your vessel(s) delivered. You’ll be able to pay for Delivery and other add-ons like Details and Rec Fuel right inside that scheduler. Checking off all your Spring to-dos in one motion! As we said, we make it easy!
